Psychotherapy

My focus is Depth Psychology per Freud and Jung. I use dreams, active imagination, tarot and astrology to surface the archetypes that each soul intends to activate in this lifetime.

My clients find their way to my practice because they are suffering. This pain takes many forms including depression, anxiety, traumatic stress, separation and loss, grief, and internal conflict. Suffering begins the process of change and growth towards higher planes of maturation and consciousness. Without consultation, this suffering can take a downward path toward addiction and dis-ease.

We need Psychotherapy to strengthen relationships, find solutions and change our worldview.

Medical Qigong

Medical Qigong is ancient Chinese medicine, a precursor of acupuncture, focusing on the five yin organs and the meridians to tonify, purify, and regulate the Qi or life force. Medical Qigong optimizes energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being. QigonQigong, a discipline which I teach my clients to practice independently, has both psychological and physical components and involves the regulation of the mind, breath, and body’s movement and posture. Practicing qigong can improve fitness, reduce anxiety and depression, lower blood pressure, relieve chronic pain, strengthen the immune and respiratory systems, and improve overall well-being.

Addiction Treatment

My therapeutic process provides the person with education regarding their addiction, relapse, and recovery processes. I offer the support that teaches them about healthy coping and communication skills, as well as how to build and establish a supportive recovery network. During this time we will also find the core of the pain and suffering they are trying to mask. Relief can sometimes be lessened with the first step, admitting the problem to a licensed professional like myself.

Meditation

So many clients present with symptoms of anxiety and depression. They need to relax and find inner peace in their hearts. Meditation helps us grow — to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. I have come to regard cultivating moment-to-moment awareness as a mechanism that transcends diagnosis, addresses underlying causes of suffering, and serves as an active ingredient in most effective psychotherapies. Meditation has a stronger effect than relaxation training to reduce smoking and other addictive cravings.

Hypnotherapy

My purposes for hypnosis vary among age progression and regression, past lives, trauma  and addiction recovery.

Individuation is the process during which one follows one’s chosen path to find the primary purpose for this life. This necessitates a journey into the unconscious in order to find the hidden parts of one’s self. The Self is the driving capacity to integrate all parts of the life cycle and to become whole. We must allow the unconscious to emerge in order to establish balance with the unconscious and achieve integration of the Self.

My Fees

$100 for in-office sessions including energy work, $60 for video, $40 for phone sessions. If you have an Employee Assistance Program, we begin with that.

I prefer not to take insurance; we can discuss a superbill that you would submit to your insurance company. We will discuss a rate and session frequency that is affordable for you during our assessment session.
